10 truckloads of furnishings, fixtures, appliances, and
building materials were rescued from demolition

Sale A Success!
The sales occurred
on Thursday, May 19 & Friday, May 20 from 8am-Noon at
409-421 W. Gorham, Madison, Wisconsin
In
order to minimize waste and maximize reuse, Madison Environmental
Group coordinated the removal of materials from 5 houses.
The buildings at 409, 411, and 419 W. Gorham will be deconstructed,
and the homes at 417 and 421 will be relocated.
Together we saved an estimated 6500 pounds of material from
the landfill. Some building materials and fixtures
were removed by the Habitat for Humanity ReStore for reuse
and resale. Visit
