Summer 2004
Rugged
southwestern Wisconsin landscapes inspire
the work of Charles Munch, an artist from Lone Rock, Wisconsin.
His bold, richly colored paintings
are populated with animals and people, highlighting the
connections between
humans and nature. Two of his
original paintings hang in the Madison Environmental Group
offices, and three more hang in the home of Sonya Newenhouse.
We designed the send-again notecards to share his work with
the community.
Send-Again Notecards
For
Earth Day 2002, we created “send-again notecards” featuring
two of Munch's paintings: Wisconsin Fantasy and Girl from
Glacier Town. The notecards are perforated down the fold,
so you can send them to a friend who can tear off the back
and send it again as a postcard. They are printed in soy-based
inks on acid-free paper, total chlorine-free pulp, with
20% post-consumer waste.
