Sonya Newenhouse has been appointed to the Governor's
Blue Ribbon Task Force on Waste Materials Recovery
and Disposal. The Task Force is charged with
developing a comprehensive strategy for managing
the broad spectrum of Wisconsin's waste materials.

Leadership Program, which selected 24 emerging
environmental leaders from around the country
to participate in a leadership program over
the next 2 years. She just returned happy and

This designation is recognized state-wide for

Clean Air Award and Dane County
Small Business Award Each year the Wisconsin Partners
for Clean Air recognizes businesses or organizations
that take voluntary actions to improve air quality.
Madison Environmental Group won the Wisconsin
Partners for Clean Air Recognition Award for
the Car-Free Challenge, EnAct, the Transportation
Options Map and Community Car. Only three companies
in the state received the award. We also won
